- Sending of volunteers to Tuloy sa Don Bosco. We can say that a good number of the Tuloy volunteers started with YUPPEACE.
- Initiating the Eucharistic adoration after the Wednesday evening Mass at Saint John Bosco Parish in preparation for the Great Jubilee, which is still practiced today.
- Organized formation programs, seminars, retreat and recollections open to the general public with usual heavy turnout among the young professionals.
- Participated in mass actions initiated by the Archdiocese of Manila and/or by the Salesians of Don Bosco.
- Stood as PPCRV volunteers during the 1998 Presidential Elections in the San Lorenzo and Pio Del Pilar polling places.

- The male members of YUPPEACE took time every Sunday afternoon to animate the children of the Muntinlupa prisoners for a year, in tandem with the Philippine Jesuit Prisons Apostolate.
- This was an offshoot of the outreach visit of the community to the inmates of the National Bilibid Prisons in the medium and maximum security sections.
- An outreach visit was also carried out with the female prisoners of the Correctional Institution.
- There have been two instances when the community went to scrub and clean some pavilions of the National Mental Hospital, a very much needed but humbling and menial outreach indeed.
- On two occasions, the YUPPEACE were called upon the assist the Bantay Bata Foundation on their annual treat for kids at the Nayong Pilipino.
- This was followed up by active involvement in the celebration of the Day for persons with disabilities (PWD).

- During the past two celebrations of the Asian Youth Day, in Thailand [1998] and Taiwan [2001], the YUPPEACE delegations played distinct roles.
- The YUPPEACE were a fixture these past years in Salesian youth gatherings, both as stage animators or formation animators. Most telling is initiating the Salesian youth leaders evening dubbed "Happy Birthday, Tatang!"
- Bigkis 2002 saw the full cooperation and presence of YUPPEACE.
- Acted as facilitators and field marshals during the Sons and Daughters Congress and the Vigil Night of the 4th World Meeting of Families.
- Immersion opportunities for the members proved to be very effective in developing critical apostolic attitudes. These immersions were held in Tondo, Paranaque, and San Jose.
- Facilitated the SYM Summer BABBAD experiences in Mambucal, Naga and Nueva Ecija.
- The community sent some members to form the nucleus of the Salesian Lay Volunteers Movement under the aegis of the SYM. Note that for the first five years, the SLVP was germinating within the care of YUPPEACE where the basic elements of the SLVP spirituality were articulated.
- Organized an "Ukay-Ukay" Sale for the parishioners of DB Tondo.
- Recently, the community set into motion the Birthday Ko, Buhay Mo. This is a fund-raising activity meant to supply the Pugad sa Don Bosco one sack of rice a day for a full year.
